Nikolai Patrushev is the secretary of the Security Council of Russia, who influences on Putin exceptionally. The candidacy of his son, the Minister of Agriculture of Russia, is being discussed as a likely successor to the president during the transfer of power.
Patrushev is one of the few leaders who headed the FSB from 1999 to 2008, the longest tenure of any FSB leader ever since Yuriy Andropov. As of now, he holds the position of Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and is considered to be Putin’s confidant.
The key psychological characteristics of Patrushev are high business and analytical skills, excellent erudition, the ability to bear responsibility for important political decisions; this is the person who forms the national political strategy, has ambitions and tools for an internal coup.
The thesis “Putin’s country, Patrushev’s regime” is quite correct: this is a fact of psychological rule of the country, the so-called informal leader of the country.
Putin owes his presidency to Patrushev. At that moment the psychology of the masses worked – bloody terrifying terrorist attacks were organized all over the country. Later on the Chechens were accused for these attacks, and all the laurels were given to the FSB heroes: one of them became the president, another one was appointed for the FSB director. Thus, if one looks closely at their careers and ambitions, there is no place for friendship. Putin and Patrushev have compromising information on each other, the psychology of tyrants who call themselves the “new nobility”, fake image they want everybody perceive, In other words, this is some sort of NLP technique for conscious transformation reality camouflage.
Patrushev’s temper is pronounced choleric. He is self-confident, meticulous about others (his environment), strong, impulsive. By analyzing his character accentuation, he is a paranoid type of personality who gets stuck on ideas. His actions always look organized, tense, purposeful, and active.
His moves are sharp, wide. Facial expressions are expressive, bright and multifaceted. The appearance is conservative, emotional, and mostly anger-colored. He often raises his eyebrows widely, his eyes are always enlarged, the result of his most frequent emotion and aggressiveness of character shown on his face. One should pay attention to his strong-willed facial bones, their elongated and narrow anatomical structure characterizes a strong-willed, spiteful and vengeful person.
He uses his sociability as a bait of benevolence, but turns any conversation to the he is interested. He argues monotonously, since the 90s he keeps repeating what he has already said. Mentoring and instructive tone is one more his trait.
While watching him you can observe pretty high level of anxiety, mistrust, fears in the worldview and the presence of extremely valuable hidden desires. He is hostile towards society in general and Putin’s government in particular. In changing and unstable conditions, he does not betray the learned style of activity and behavior. Alongside with the fact that he is competent in many state matters, he is primitive at the same time. While analyzing the video materials of the 90s and the latest records, it become obvious that he has no new ideas, everything is solved on a very old action plan. He considers himself the only development strategy in everything, he perceives painfully any dissent manifestation, and his management style is obviously authoritarian and tyrannical.
Given the above, he evaluates people on a ‘strong-weak’ scale, he has an exaggerated hypercontrol of himself and others, which proves his paranoid trends, the echo of all the crimes committed even until now. He has a constant feeling of psychological guilt, which has turned into constant paranoia.
His deep psychological trauma roots from childhood. His life is a constant striving for power. He has a developed sense of guilt for his father, whom he considered to be frivolous in relation to the Russian ideological system. Now he creates exactly the very ideology he used to have conflicts about with his father.
He is one of the most influential people in Russia, the one who runs propaganda and creates narratives inside and outside the country. If Putin loses power, it will not change anything. The military-political core, have been forming during the 20 years of Putin’s rule, consists of representatives of the security agencies. These are the so-called “hawks”. Potential Patrushev will be even worse than Putin.
The opinion that Patrushev adheres exclusively to the despotic power, absolute totalitarianism with elements of conditional democracy, and not even hidden tyranny, obviously proves a psychologically sick worldview, formed by these very “hawks”. The key idea of the system is that the law is exceptional (the special servants are people who usually break the law). The most important postulate is that people are only tools to achieve the main goals.Having such a worldview and psychological attitude, the lust for power is still the main motivation; money and enrichment are dominant values.
Although Patrushev knows how to bend with the wind, he often disagrees with Putin, he has his own opinion. He understands everything he does, everything has the sense and goal. All the behind-the-scenes games launched by him are well thought out.In summary, fragmentation and dismantling of Russia is the only way to prevent the security forces from ruling the country.
